Too big:( but still love n wear them lol
Loved them but were way too big. Had to re order and size down
I love the 2790 platform shoes. They have good room and are super comfy. They go great with just about everything you would want. They’re definitely a must have!
I love the sleek design of these; a classic look that has been elevated to meet today’s trends. I have short, wide feet and normally compensate by ordering a half to full size up if the shoe isn’t offered in wider widths and even that isn’t fail-safe. After reading other reviews, I threw caution to the wind and ordered 7.5 but ultimately, I exchanged for an 8 (which is typically what I would get in a regular width.) I’m so glad that I did. My return/exchange was smooth and prompt and the half size up made all the difference. I also had a little heal slippage at first but I played with the lacing and am happy now! Will definitely purchase Superga again when the time comes.
I originally chose the first platforms in a size 9 because: the size 8 SUPERGA’s I bought the year before (Both L & R) wore Holes through on the top of the toes! … making me think that they were poss too small?? I also chose the “tank” style because: the sole of the shoe is much thicker and I thought they would be more durable. But when I had to exchange the 9’s for 8’s, they didn’t have an 8 so I had to settle for the regular platforms… the problem I had with that: the sole of my platforms from the summer before (Both R & L) came UNGLUED from the actual shoe!…which drove me insane! Don’t know What I’ll do if That happens again! I mean, I know the brand is Italian and all; I just like the shoe style…It’s Classy! … it just almost makes it Not worth it ya know? Not worth all the trouble for shoes that literally fall apart!
